Just kidding. For a first attempt it’s fantastic. You will find all sorts of helpful people here. If you have a quaestoon, don’t be afraid to ask, someone will have an answer or help in some way.

Really?? Only three hours?? First atempt???
Hi there and thank you very much.

LOL Yep, 3 hours. I actually thought that was a bit long seeing as how there were only 8 parts to it but sounds like I did alright. I didn't add any extra detail to it as i'm sure that will add many hours as I start getting into it more.

I did make sure that I cut everything out first and as I built each piece I folded everything, made sure it lined up correctly and was clean before I started gluing anything. I suppose that's common sense though. lol

As I was talking about with jaffro last night i'll need to invest in some good tools that will help me along the way also. I'll be attempting another one tonight, exciting stuff!

HAHA no way. I reckon that would take me a lifetime! I'll continue to admire jaffro from the sidelines on that one.

It becomes quite addicting.

What types of models do you like most?

Not really sure yet. I see a lot of stuff that's built here are mostly old war vehicles, that doesn't really scream build me for me lol. I wouldn't mind doing some old school muscle cars, famous buildings, even trains I think would be cool to do. I don't know, really need to see what's out there I guess.

Hi, Flagirl727! Welcome to the paper-cuts, I mean, paper-nuts. For some good starting projects, check out the "Disney Experience" site from the "Links" tab here. They have Disney characters to Disney theme park buildings from all over the world.

You funny!

Also, welcome to the forum Flagirl727. If Jaffro survives his Scud experience, Maybe you two could co-build some civilian vehicles....
