Welcome Dai! Does being a New South Welshman count as an actual Weshman? Probably not!
The rising cost of plastic was also one of the reasons I jumped ship. But now that I'm here I've found there are countless other advantages in paper/card modelling and I love it.
I hope you eventually see it the same way and become a diehard like the rest of us here fella.
BTW, you're in a nice part of the world there in Grenfell. I lived in Orange for a while but unfortunately lack of employment opportunities put paid to that.

Whichever bus you get on it sure beats trying to drive a car there, so many one way streets, you can end up in a perpetual loop, driving around trying to find your way out for so long that you forget where you were going in the first place.

Welcome to the forum, fellow Aussies...

Not very often do we go to Sydney. Too far and too crowded. We used to go by train which used to get us into Central Station at about 10pm. Alternate. Drive to Canberra 2-3 hr trip then get the Kerosene Canary to KSA then train/bus/taxi to our hotel. A lot faster than bus then train.
