Re Proteus sub

Hi there. My names John although my user name is astonmartin. I am new to this site and am looking for a specific model. I normally build 1/8th scale high detailed car models from kits ( usually Pocher ) but I want to build the card model of the fantastic voyage Proteus sub! There was one on a Japanese site that would have been just the job but its no longer available to download! Has anyone on this forum any idea how I can obtain one! Has anyone on here got copies of the templates and the instructions! I am willing to pay a reasonable price to obtain them if requested! I do hope someone can help! I know there is a plastic kit available from Moebius but its around £130 which is to much! Many thanks John astonmartin.

If you have the URL of the Japanese site, you might be able to download the model from the Wayback Machine.

Thats the only big Japanese Proteus that I know of.
And its not for sale...or shouldn't be, from anyone.

Uhu may have opened his Library to the public but he hasn't really changed anything.
Many models are still not available to the general public.
Mainly the older models (that are still being pirated).

The Proteus entry (on Uhu's site) states "download end".
But you can view (via a series of page links) all the assembly photos and help he originally posted.
These will come in handy to those who still resort to downloading pirated copies of the Proteus...lol

I gather from the comments above that this model is no longer available to anyone and that no one has any templates of the Proteus! Its a shame! Seems that I will have to save up for the Moebius model at around £130 but many thanks for your help!

Can I recommend you go to Uhu's blogsite and send him a message asking about the model.

Uhu has now allowed unrestricted access to his "Library" of work (older releases) but only very recent stuff has download links for the Model Sheets (the Parts).
Most (older) kits just have links to the published build photos and assembly information.
The Proteus model is an "older" model.

All future releases will only be available to those who are considered "regulars" (however that is determined)...and, those "regulars that leave comments".

I don't see any method (on the site) to send a direct communication.
You have the option to leave comments with every post.
And I also see a Twitter link...maybe hes an active Twittererist?
That might be one way to reach him.
Maybe thats where the "regulars" are congregating? lol

I'm excited to see the current "reworking" of the Silent Running Robot models!
Not only do I love this movie and these little worker drones,
but "reworking" might mean he will "rework" other kits.
Like Ironman and/or the Blade Runner Blaster model?!
Then I might actually be able to complete these models!
