Hi everyone
Thank you for welcoming me to your group.
I've always made models of one form or another, from plastic airfix kits as a kid to radio control aircraft as a BIG kid. but as materials and equipment got increasingly more expensive and my disposable income got less and less I wound that down almost completely. A couple of years ago I was getting fidgety and wanted to build something again but had no money. That's when I started downloading free models from the web and printing onto card stock. I think I did a fair job of my first models but joined this forum to see if I can gain some hints and tips to make my future models a bit better. Rich

Welcome Rich. Yours is a familiar story. I'm sure like myself, one of the handy things you'll learn on here is the difference between 'good' (genuinely free models) and 'bad' (pirated material) free downloads. There's a squillion legit freebies to get into - just check the Downloads section on here- you'll see what I mean!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Have just been admiring some of the work on the Facebook page. Especially like that truck.
Currently selling off my R/C lorry on ebay because I don't have space for it (5ft long ) but I think I can find a bit of shelf space for a couple of papercraft versions.
