Hello all and thank you to Jason for the welcome. In my recent past I have built model ships from kits and scratch. Having looked at builds of paper models i am amazed at the quality, variety and low cost compared to wood,metal etc. Also the skill and finish shown in the build logs is incredible. So I am going to have a go. How hard can it be sticking bits of paper together. Gulp.

Not hard at all, in fact it's dead easy, anyone can do it, even me.

However, in order to replicate the quality builds as seen of the many models on this forum it takes a lot of practice to obtain the required skills.

For me, I'm happy with what I make in the knowledge that my skills are improving all the time.

Will I ever be as good as some of the forum members? Probably not, but I'm enjoying myself none the less.

So good luck, give it your best shot and I eagerly await to see your results.
