Hello from Illinois.
Brand new to modeling and thought I'd take a look. I'm blown away by the work you've done here.

Welcome. Originally from the Land of Lincoln, too -- Casey, home of the World's Largest Rocking Chair, Wind Chimes, Golf Tee, Pitchfork and several other items certified by Guinness.
For the most part, you'll find the folks here welcoming and willing to share their knowledge. Most share it in a positive and constructive manner. Above all, if you have questions, just ask. |

Welcome. Have a look around, download an easy model to try, ask questions, have fun. We try to be newbie-friendly here. Besides the downloads here, there are great beginner models at various websites — try Canon Creative Park, for example. And to answer the first couple of common beginner questions, start with 65 lb. cardstock (any office supply store has it); your favorite white glue; a self-healing cutting mat, and a LOT of #11 hobby knife blades!

Welcome. Where in Illinois can you get found. I'm just over the river in Burlington Iowa myself.
