Hello from Nebraska USA

Greetings from the heart of corn and beef country in the United States, near Omaha Nebraska!

I'm Sudsy, I've been doing card and paper models since I was around eight, the same age I started building plastic and balsa models as well. I've been a part of a few other paper model forums as well (Cardboard Warriors, Zealot) as well as a few gaming specific forums (DakkaDakka, Advanced Tau Tactia).

I look forward to seeing what Paper Modelers has to offer, and adding content of my own as well and sharing my experiences, and who knows, maybe a model of my own design someday.

Yippiee! Nice photo of the SAC Museum in your avatar! If you are a Member (or not...), we might need to go meet up there sometime. Maybe even set-up a table of paper models for an event next to the plastic model tables during events...

I used to work there part time. A few years back, I taught a paper model workshop during the indoor airshow and did a paper model display table with the Fort Crook IPMS during the OmaCon model show at the museum.

We should for sure meet up there this summer.

Thanks for the info. I'll look them up, even if I don't join, if for nothing more than to see what they have on a public calendar for events.

Hello and Welcome!
I hope that all that water that my home state of South Dakota is letting out will not totally drown you guys in Nebraska! Looking pretty wet in the midwest about now. Stay safe and dry.
