Smile Hello from Germany!

Hello!

I have been into modelling from the very beginning of my life, starting with plastic-kits as a child, then building more or less simple papermodels and continuing with building (sometimes working) steamengines and much more. I just love to try differnet things....

Now at the age of 44 I started over with modelling. I build plastic models, mainly WW2 and modern German military in 1/72. After playing Kerbal Space Program (nice game btw.) I decided to build something different, but the existing plastic kits concerning Spacecrafts are not really appealing to me, and thats why I am (again) back to Papermodels.....

For the beginning a have chosen this nice shuttle: https://www.kartonmodellshop.de/shop...ebersetzt.html

For me as a new beginner itīs really challenging, but I will take my time.

Greetings from Germany (and Sorry for my english ),

Christoph

Christoph,

Welcome to the community. And your English is fine. I have not spoken or translated anything in German in over 50 years, so I doubt that I would be able to translate anything beyond "Good Morning".

I am sure you will enjoy this forum. We have every degree of paper modeler,
from museum quality designers to plain old builders, like myself. If you need help, just ask the question. Someone will have the answer. In fact, a whole lot of "someones" will have an answer and you will be able to pick the one that suites you best. I look forward to your first build thread. Best of luck!

John
