I'm not sure if I ever introduced myself here. I'm Dirk and I'm from the highly taxed state of New jersey.

I've been tinkering with paper models for a couple years but still consider myself a nube with tons to learn. To be fully transparent I was part of another forum but they seemed to have been hijacked and redirected to a land full of non-stop adds. I look forward to looking at all the builds here and will post some of mine.

I am in Delaware, and there are some other members who live in New Jersey, and should pipe in once they read this thread.

Consider taking a trek down 95, to the DC area at the end of October, we have our annual International Paper Model Convention, you can mingle with like minded fellow crazies(as some of us call ourselves)

I consider myself lucky that there are so many different modeling events within reach of where I live but the one thing NOT is a paper show. I would love to go to one some day

Looking around here, there are some familiar user names and build threads from the other forum. I didn't realise that some people were posting simultaneously in at least two forums.
