I decided last night it was about time I created my own 5x5x5cm scale block for photos.

I've placed the 8.8cm SK C/35 naval gun in front that I'm working on for my Uboat build.

If your wondering, I'm painting the whole piece and hence why the the edges are still white.

I'm happy to share the blank cube .pdf if anyone wants it, or put up in the download area.

Cheers.

P.S.

Oh, I learnt something already whilst being here. Using various sizes knitting needles to form tubes. I'd have never thought of that. I've been using approximate bits of dowel, wire, paintbrush handles, all sorts.
I also water the pars a bit so it is more flexible and easier to roll but make sure you dont use too much.soemtimes I also instead of the water use clear school glue so it keeps the shape while you rolling the part...edges I always color before form any parts

That is very good! When it comes to rolling and closing tubes I use anything cylindrical that is at hand, I have an arsenal of things of all sizes and material.
There is something very important that sometimes we , we do not pay attention ,the thickness of the paper, a tube small is very difficult to achieve if the paper is thick. Usually for the tubes I use thin paper, it is easy to roll and if it requires rigidity it is easy to fill with anything.
