Greetings from Florida
Hey everybody! Just checking in. I've always (well, for the past 15 years or so, when I discovered it was a thing) loved paper modeling. I found this site because some other page had linked pictures of an amazing build of the Space 1999 Eagle, which I'd be insane to even attempt. I do love space models, though, either fictional or real, and military aircraft and tanks. Anyway, thanks for the add! Look forward to seeing everyone's work!

Welcome to the forum.

I remember seeing builds of that model when I was new to the hobby, thinking I'd never attempt anything like that, amongst others, including the scud I recently finished. I think the greatest skill you can have in this hobby is not even a skill, it's just patience and a willingness to try and learn new things. There's an abundance of helpful people always willing to share tips and advice and in a lot of cases, if you make a mistake, you can just print another part and try again... not something the plastic guys can always do. |
