Intro from a new member

Hi, All.

I've been building paper models (a few here, a few there) over the years but now that I've "retired" to being a school bus driver I finally have the time to do what I enjoy most ... build models.

I'm looking to pick up some new skills and take my modeling to the next level (i.e., build something that doesn't make me cringe every time I look at it, because of the flaws I can see that others don't). I love building paper models but I'm tired of achieving the same results and not seeming to move to the next level. I believe this group of modelers can help me with that.

I'm currently starting on a 06/1993 Maly Modelartz Hawker Typhoon, and I have a Kartinowy Arsenal I-25 Japanese submarine waiting in the wings. Maybe some day I'll even tackle that HMS Hood model, or the big Saturn 5 rocket I've been wanting to do.

Any how, happy to have joined the group and look forward to modeling with you all for many many years.

Dave/Driver2209

Hello Dave. If it's any solace, cringing at one's efforts is suffered by the majority of us and comes with the territory.

Welcome Dave..

Look at your models from 4 feet away - if they look good and flawless, then they are good and flawless!
