I got hooked on paper models for the same reason. But as you say, there's much more to it.

My wife and I have been to Italia several times, mostly Rome and Tuscany.
We love it and want to come back. We are very sad to hear how hard your country has been hit by Covid-19. We look forward to the day when we can once again visit your country and the wonderful people we have met there.
Ciao,

I absolutely agree with you!
Of course it's not just the coloring affair... Actually, it's not important to have a perfect replica, the good thing is to build each part from the simplest one up to the complete model.

Ciao,
It's really a strange and difficult moment for all the world. We all need to take care of each other.
Now it's time to let this wave flows out, the lands, architectures and all your friends will wait for you, so you will rediscover them once we can rejoin.

See you in here.

It's a wonderful hobby.
Let's call out discover a serendipity!
I hope that your sad moments now belong to the past.

For the sake of clarity I would like to inform that I'm always the same person.

I kindly ask to rickstef to fix my name as I made a mistake during the registration process of the user "asettico", so I signed in as "leblau" (a character I played some years ago).
So you can call me as you want!

I'm here, too, because I hate painting. Probably because I'm rubbish at it. Do you have any pictures of your work that you'd be able to share with us, asettoco? We love pictures!

The only completed models are simple ones, and I given to friends.

Maybe I can put here some pictures of a couple here ago, something I like sooo much!

Currently, I paused a pendulum clock to dedicate myself to the great Saturn V scale 1:48.
