Post Hello From Prescott, Az

Hello and this is my introductory post. Ten years ago I purchased the 1:144 scale LUT kit from David Maier to go along with the Revell Saturn iv in the same scale. I have not gotten to building either one yet but I am going to try to change that now. I found out about this site from an old article in Air & Space magazine so here I am, starting to realize that I am still learning the right questions to ask. What paper to use, printer issues, construction techniques, etc.. The LUT kit came with a great instruction CD so I will start there. Then on to the command module kit as described in the A&P article. I hope my interest is not writing checks my skills can't cash.

Bill

Hey Bill, welcome to the forum. When I was looking at getting out of the Valley of the Sun(stroke) looked at Prescott, but eventually up here in Miami-Globe area.

And I'm in Phoenix, so I think we have Arizona covered pretty well.

Dear Bill:
Welcome and I suggest that you start simple go to the Download section pick a simple model(s) and try these before starting a major model.
Enjoy,
Miles

Miles, that is great advice and I will do that. Is there some sort of difficulty rating used?

Bill

Welcome, Bill. The download section varies in difficulty, though the descriptions will help in many cases. Lots of good stuff there.

Another suggestion is to go to Canon Creative Park: https://creativepark.canon/en/index.html
Look under “paper crafts.” Their models are free, cover a wide range of subjects, have excellent instructions, and are rated for difficulty.
