Hi everybody

actually, paper models are just my current phase in scratch building.
My main motivation is to build models fit to use on the table for Warhammer 40k.
Some 15 years ago i made my first attempts in building 40k models with paper templates - just that i used plasticard then.
Since roughly 2 years, i have shifted to paper. That is because i started an Imerial Guard/Astra Militarum force... and, no offense meant, i strongly dislike the Games Workshop designs.
So... i made my own with a line of tanks based on a Halo inspired tank design i found on the net.

However... they are only mostly made of paper. Approximately 98%.
Painting and weathering the models after building is apparently also something not that common when using paper as the main material.

It is always confusing to choose a new nickname - so don't be confused if my photos have a watermark with the name "Nostromo". I have been using that name for over 20 years now and a confess being too lazy to rework all photos to show another nickname, so apologies in advance to the local "nostromo"

So... yes, i intend to show my building history here in the near future.

Unfortunately, the first attempt of posting failed due to number of URLs (i have stored the photos elsewhere) and/or forbidden words ... is there a list of those i can check against?

Thanks for the welcome and the offered help.
Ready made templates are something i rarely use - usually for reference or for inspiration.

Usually, i take a completely different approach than using templates.
Most of my models are of my own design - so not only the templates, but the whole design.
Or, in the case of my current project, i squeeze a nice looking STL file through Pepakura and see what i can get out of it.
