Also, thank you all for welcoming me back.

I just finished setting up my Olympus Master software in this computer, but when I try to upload photos from my camera, the program says it cannot find an Olympus camera connected to the computer, even though I have made sure the camera is firmly plugged into a USB port. I've even plugged it into other ports. I wonder what gods I have angered.

I had a similar issue with my external backup, and I hope the solution to your problem is as simple -- a power switch on the plug! Stupid place for a switch.

If it is firmly plugged in, it should at least recognize the device, even if it cannot read files. This may be a job for ... Tech Support

Back again. First to Bob: White top, gray mid-section, coral lower body.
To VK: I can try the fittings again, but it might be the camera. It was new in 2005.

Signing off until this afternoon. Things are disorganized. Just finished moving to a new apartment. On my way to finish cleaning out my old apartment.

Everyone have a good day.

Can't remember.

Friends:

I can't remember how to start a new thread. Also, can I upload photos from my computer's Pictures files?
