Hello
Hello
I admire the quality of these paper models made from people all over the world. I have assembled some of the Major Brand paper models from Cannon's Creative Park and Epson's Nakajima Racing models. I have a Space hobby and enjoy the Flight Simulator FlightGear and have made some 3D Models for the FlightGear NASA Space Shuttle using Blender 3D Modeling software. I made the Landing Gears, Rims, Wheels, the Ku-Band Antena, the Air Data Probe, and the Orbital Maneuvering Pods on the rear of the Space Shuttle for the simulator, I released the models under a GPL licence. I had intended on releasing my models on one of my websites, Hanger18.Altervista.org , but my web host has some restrictions on free accounts, understandably. I also have some other models I am working on, as can be seen on my website, The Avrocar (AKA Project 1794) that was an actual craft. I purchased a copy of Pepakura to make paper models of my Computer 3D models. I am hoping to have a place here to release my 3D creations. Most of my models I enjoy are made from actual Engineering documents, I am currently working on the Launch Control Center, Launch Pad 39A/B, and Vehicle Assembly Building. These are outrageously complex buildings so I hope to also find some interested and experienced users to help organize a process to make, assemble, and test some models and help determine a best scale for paper modeling. A very slow process for one person to perform. Jorge |
