My main interest is in WW1 aircraft, so I'd like some suggestions for any kits/downloads suitable for a beginner in this medium.

Hi Steve, greetings from Kent and welcome. Try fiddlersgreen.net for WW1 aircraft - big selection and some are very suitable for beginners. All downloadable as well. Seem to remember if you join you get some freebies. Good luck, Bailey
