Saying Hello
Hi all, I have been building models since I was 9 years old. My first was an Aurora Mig 19. Plastic models for a few years then I went to "Stick and Paper"
until after high school. Then came service time, tech school, job, marriage then children. Modeling stopped for a while until I joined the IPMS chapter in Binghamton NY in 1972. Then I moved to Charlotte, NC in 1979. Modeling disappeared for a long time, a very long time. It wasn't until about 2013 that I started back up again. Plastic models again. I started watching Youtubers for inspiration, and instruction. Came across this "Frankie Day Models" and he was building plastic and paper models. I became intrigued, he also mentioned this forum to get started with. So here i am. The only paper models I have ever built is what was on the back of cereal boxes when I was a kid, built a tank from Fiddlers Green once that's about it though. |

Hello, and welcome to the forum. The cereal box thing - that's how I got started. The vehicles on the back of Weetabix packets were my favoirites. Didn't build them all though as I got sick of eating Weetabix.
