Hello everyone, new member here from Wisconsin.

I live in the southern part of Wisconsin, near the Illinois border. I'm living in a small town located between Lake Geneva and Janesville. I'm originally from the Chicago area, but moved to Wisconsin in 2018.



When I was a kid in the 1980's, I built mostly cars and buildings from paper. Back then I would hand draw everything on paper, color it with crayons, cut it out with scissors, and make into three dimensional models (usually with tape, but sometimes glue). As a kid I also built trucks, motorcycles, airplanes, trains, etc from paper.



I'm going to do the same thing again, just with improved methods and materials. I have learned a lot from this website forum, and various other websites. And I plan to build other things, I never even imagined back then.

Hi Howard,

Welcome aboard! Designing the models is magic with smoke and mirrors so I do admire those with the skills for it!

I would imagine these days with CAD and who knows what that the task of designing has far more possibilities than at any time.

What sort of models will you design?
