Hello from Germany
Hello, my name is Harald. I'm 50 and built my first paper model when I was 8 years old. I later switched to plastic, but in the last few years I've been coming back to paper. I build everything, from historic vehicles to science fiction spaceships. My favourite scale is 1:250. I designed some simple models myself so far, but nothing to write home about. I'm always trying to improve myself, though.

Welcome! Simple models are fine - you likely have more detail in your "simple" ones than you'd get in an expensive "desk" model.
