greetings and salutations!

I'm 42 and from British Canuckistan. I've never had the patience to model much, but, I saw the apparent low cost of paper models so decided to join and see if I can be pointed in the direction of where I can source my fav planes and videos that show the process of how you assemble a paper model.

the planes I'm hoping are available are all the de Havilland Canada models... so Chipmunk, Beaver, Otter, their turbo variants, Twin Otter, wheeled and pontoon. then the Caribou, Buffalo... and maybe the Dash short haul passenger craft.

I'd also like to see whats out there for some Canadair planes like the CT-114 Tutor and their 215 and 415 water bombers.

lastly...the Avro Arrow...

Greetings and salutations from the UK, and welcome to the forum. I think the best place to ask your questions is in the "First Cuts: A Lounge" section. Have fun!

The apparent low cost is a trap! First it will be scissors at 5 bucks, from every store, then paper types to try, then the glues - so many varieties of white glue, it never stops! Then on to the serious items, maybe a cricut cutter, or a laser cutter....

Nah, its great. Even the models that are not free, are dirt cheap, the developers are not getting rich.

I am working on the Beaver billmcc points us at. A very nice model. I got the wings on straight, and like it so much it has sat there staring at me for six months with no tail or engine. Almost like I am afraid to touch it....

Welcome,

Hallo/hello
there are quite a few avro arrow models out there, for the first you would need to make your own glue tabs but its also large so either make it small or use thicker card!

With the paper-replika site, you need to look for a download button, usually at the end of the page, click the radio button that you agree, and then the download button will become active, and you can download the file.
There is a password with most P-R kits, but it is always given near the download button
