Looking forward to learning and sharing
I have taken up an interest in paper modelling as an alternative to building and kitbashing plastic HO Scale (1:87) models. With an interest in other scales, this will be a great new way to model. I have a Cameo Silhouette 4 that I have been experimenting with as well. I am fascinated by how realistic and detailed paper models can be!

Hi All,
And hi, Huthutcan, and welcome to Papermodelers. If you are working on an HO layout, there are quite a few paper model buildings and structures available for sale on the internet. A quick search will probably turn up some free, downloadable models, too. If you’re willing to be more flexible when it comes to scale fidelity, some very interesting OO scale paper buildings are available from English sources. I hope you learn to enjoy this hobby as much as I have over the past 40 years. Score and fold, Thumb Dog |

Welcome! This hobby has been my favorite of all of my many hobbies. The wide variety of possibilities, varying level of details, and fantastic people here in the forum make building and sharing progress a great time.
I like aviation builds, scratch builds, and finding cool projects to follow on the forum. Whatever you like to make, there are many others here with the same interest. What are some models that you may be interested in? Planes? Tanks? Architecture? Cars? Space? There are so many topics and kits to be entertained. |
