Hi, there,
Hi, there,
I've just migrated over from secretprojects.co.uk, I'm a long time plastic modeller, looking to move to to paper modelling, so I'm an enthusiastic rank beginner, although I eventually hope to graduate to designing my own models cheers, Robin. |

Welcome to the fold Robin. Do you have a subject you prefer to build?

Welcome to the forum. Many of us started in plastic and have moved on to the best medium for modeling, paper. It is economical, forgiving and easy to work with once you get the hang of it. OH! did I mention that it is habit forming.

it's fun, as long as you do NOT cut out each stinking piece and put them in a envelope, you can do that for small kits but a big complex one, anywho, welcome, we come in PIECE

Welcome - it's the model, not the material. But, working with paper you make the model, not just assemble it. And for the artistically challenged (me) the printed graphics are far superior to any paint job I could do.
