Hello

Hi,

I'm very new to card modelling but I'm eager to learn more.

Your forum seems to be a very good place to do that.

Best regards to all

Jose

Welcome to the forum. What kind of models do you like to build? If you have built any, post some pictures.

Hi,

mainly I've builded some houses, cars and planes from Canon site. Not really a modelling challenge, because I've choosed the easy ones. I'm doing my first steps on this craft and I don't feel prepared to start any big projects.

Right now I've already identified that I need to invest in a good blade art knife and in good scissors. My scissors are not very sharp, and it has been a pain to cut some of the smaller or more complicated pieces.

I only knew plastic kits and I was completely amazed with the detail and quality of the card ones from Halinski, GPM and others.

Right now this kind of kits are way to much for my krafting habilities. But maybe in the future I'll be able to do some of them.

Best regards

Easy models are the best to start with, Their simplicity sometimes makes for a challenging build. I have taken a simple model and taken it apart and made a simple cut out model into a multiple part model. A flat wheel was changed into a realistic 3D wheel. cut out the windows in a house and scratch build the interior. made the flat surface into 3D version and so forth. Just use your imagination into making simple into complex.
