Hey Ken, glad to see you wander over here. Let me warn you, this paper stuff can get addictive quick. That's why I haven't been on the Spotlight board that much lately.

Thanks, gentlemen
I don't have any Paper Project lined up just yet, but from what I see here (especially that Big Boy) the temptation is VERY great!
Thanks for the warm welcome. |

Hi Ken. Am I right in assuming you are the same Ken that does tips & tech for SAE?
I think you will find a lot more than just textures here to apply to your dioramas/model railroad projects. Glad to have you here. Greg

Welcome Ken. I was born and raised off EXIT 9 myself.
There are a lot of great realistic looking buildings built to scale for model railroading too. I also seen quite a few paper locomotives that I wish I could motorize and add to my layouts. |

Thanks, Greg & Steven. Yup....that's me doing Tips & Tech.
This whole idea of using printed paper for textures and surfaces on buildings, etc., is really fascinating. With the quality of printing available, I can't tell the difference between flat, printed paper & the real thing without touching the surface. PLUS, here I find all this incredible "3D" paper & cardstock modeling. ....Amazing..... |

Ken,
If you feel like a road trip this weekend check us out at the International Paper Model Convention in Dulles VA. If you can't make it this year, think about attending next year Rick
