New Member Conyers, GA
Greetings one and all,
Back in 1989 I built a 1/48 Delta Airlines Boeing 727. Very enjoyable. I was glad to come across the increase in interest lately in Paper Modeling and took the opportunity to start building my Fly Model F-111E. So far, so good. Design/Build goals: Boeing 2707-200 SST and North American F-108 Rapier Best regards, Rick Shivik Conyers, GA |

On the Delta 727, does anyone know more about who manufactured this model and if there are any more 1/48 scale airliners by the same maker?

Welcome from Athens, GA!
Those models have gone the way of the dodo. If you establish a search on EBay, they come up every now and again, but the price is dear! I built one back then, too. I have one "in the box" waiting for me to get to it.

So, what search keywords should I use?

Delta 727. You'll come up with large amounts of garbage, but the model might show up.
Search cardmodels or papermodels, too. Good luck.

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I've been busy...
Welcome to the group yet another Georgian! (I'm formerly from Augusta, currently displaced to Upstate SC) I'm starting to think we could almost have our own little mini-con of modelers from the Peach State! |
