Welcome! Paper is just another type of sheet material (albeit cheap, non-toxic, and renewable) for building. You'll have a great time here.

Thanks for taking our humor in stride, Ed.

Back story: In the spring of 1967, I was advisor to a Vietnamese infantry battalion that conducted an amphibious operation on the coast of Vinh Binh Province. A couple of years ago, Jim Nunn and I discovered that he was also there, protecting our flank aboard a US Navy gunboat. A couple of future paper modelers bobbing around in the South China Sea.

And Ashrunner (an Air Force veteran who got his name dodging the lahar on the slopes of Mount Pinatubo during the eruption) was kind enough to use a PM to let me know that I had mistyped "throw" as "through" in my silly posting.

Anyway, we look forward to hearing a lot more from you in the future.

Don

Leaping lizards! Acts of lèse majesté committed by various retired squids, dogfaces, and flypeople!

Wij nederig smeken uw vergeving, meester Rick!

Please do not unleash the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch upon us -- we promise more cowbell in the future!

And I hope Master Dan will forgive me for failing to work in "It looks like a Corsair."

Humbly and contritely,
