Hello from Queensland, Australia

Hi All,

Just a quick intro.
I've just started building paper models (I'm only a novice), started building simple stuff at first (South Park Captain America that i found on the net)... now i've started doing a bit more complex stuff.

Recently, I've built the BSG Viper Mk2 and I've just completed my Macross Veritech Fighter (Skull Leader)... as you can see I'm fascinated with Sci-Fi fighter planes.

Anyway, building paper models is quite relaxing... but my partner doesn't like it when i spend hours (err... days) cutting and gluing... it's better than spending $$$ on my old hobby of playing xbox... at least building paper models I have something show afterwards.

Now to look for another paper model to download and make.

Welcome - you can always make your partner a few gifts (the labor of love ...).

Looking forward to seeing what you're building next.

Welcome, Pikachun.
Just keep reminding your partner of the money you're saving. That works with my Mrs. She cheers whenever I tell her I just downloaded a "Free" model.
I'm with Yogi...looking forward to seeing what you're building next.

I was looking on the web for the SAAB hammer head, but was unable to locate it... oh well...

but... I've found my next model... I've just downloaded Janx/Getter's Alpha fighter...

When my wife told me I was spending too much time paper cutting and gluing, I found a paper model she would like to have and offered her so she could be making it with me. It was instant success.

If your wife likes to craft arts, it will not that difficult...

Make bridges, don't build walls... unless they are paper walls...

Hi Getter,
Thanks for the link....
hmmm.... now i've got two models that i want to build... which one first?

I guess i should build the Alpha first since i've already got it printed.

I'll have to take some pics of the Valk (although don't expect too much - remember novice here)

Hi Blackronin,
hmm... crafts... and my partner... if you knew my partner you'll thing twice in giving her a cutting implement... (trust me she's accident prone)... I'd probably give her the job in printing.

Hmmm... Damian, yes you're right... that was the first R-rated papermodel that i've ever seen too... i think i'll stick to fighter planes.
