Newbie

Hello all,

I'm a card / paper modeller newbie. I have been modelling in plastic for a couple of years now. I have graduated to paper and am loving it.

I live in Australia, am a teacher-librarian (so i get lots of free photocopying :D), 40 something, and have a number of hobbies. But modelling is my first love .

Anyway... HELLO.

Welcome aboard, Like most of us, plastic was the introduction to modeling, then to scratch building and finally with paper. Paper is a much more forgiving medium and way more economical. See you around in the forums.

Welcome, Steven! Always happy to see more teachers here. You can combine work and play by using some of the simpler models for classroom projects. Lower Hudson Valley Challenger Center ( jleslie48.com ) has several models tailored for blunt scisssors and small hands. You can also try the glider links from this thread Neato gliders for some projects for science class.
Looking forward to your participation.
