Hello everybody, I'm new at the paper modelers forum, I'm from Ecuador my interest is focused about aircrafts, mainly those planes used by my country in his aviation historic path, a rich mixture of early French and Italian biplanes, followed by american golden age low wing planes, english jets, and lately planes from French, Israel and Brazil.

Although I'm worried by my english language limitations, I am self encouraged to make this post, only I hope that you excuse me for the grammar mistakes in this post and the others that I hope send :o

Welcome, Miguel! Your English is fine - and we have many multi-lingual members. You should find lots of appreciation and any help you might need in finding models or repainting them in Ecuadorian colors.

Hello,

First all, I'm grateful for your welcome words at forum, I note that you are the gentlemen welcomer man at this forum.

Coincidentially I have review a thread that discuss about paper models pirate, I read a post sent in spanish by Eduardo, in this order I would like to know if repaint a paper model is ethic because one of my objetives is build aircraft paper models with Ecuadorian colors, of course without commercial interest.

I have other question about this subject, how we can solve when we make search for a specific model and it is not more available (generally produced by old trademarks for example Geli, Avia, Whilhemshaven and others), is correct in this cases download it from any source, redraw and repaint it and built not for sale or commercial use?
