Hey There
I have been a modeler, on and off, since I was about 9 years old, in 1960. My primary interest has been plactic automobiles, with a secondary interest in plastic aircraft. During the late seventies I developed a love for vacuum formed aircraft. I dicovered papermodels in the mid-nineties, at the Fiddler's Green website. I am now addicted to paper planes. The beauty and cleverness of the designers' work is a real joy just to look at, let alone build.

Welcome aboard garrryrenfro! You'll find this a nice place to bend, fold, spindle and otherwise mutilate that favorite of mediums, paper! And when your friends show their amazement at your creations make be sure to remind them, "Did I tell you it's made of paper?"...,

I have certainly looked at the cars available, and some are quite good, some actually exquiste. I am currently working on desining some Land Speed Record cars in paper, since their lines are generally simple and much related to aircraft. I believe they will be very graceful models. When I get one complete, I will post it. |
