New guy from Eastern PA

Hello All,

I am a confirmed plastic kit builder who has dabbled in card modeling from time to time for about a year now. Though plastic kits (and scratchbuilding) are my primary interest, I still do love card models (particularly free ones:D)
My main interest is ships, all navies, all eras, but particularly French Pre-dreads (I have already taken a look at the lovely builds going on here) and cruisers...I love my cruisers.

I live in Carlisle, also like ships (primarily pre-1945 U.S., British, and Japanese merchant and warships).

Your APA-168 logo caught my eye, as I wrote a book (not yet published) on Army amphibious operations in the Korean War and did a substantial amount of research on the history of amphibious warfare in the process. I assume you have read Thomas E. Crew's Combat Loaded, about an AKA in the last year of the Pacific War.
