Hello from Louisiana USA

Hi everybody from 1998trans. This is the first forum I haved joined. I build Space and Scifi models in plastic and resin. A friend of mine showed me some papermodels and now I want to build some. The only papermodel I had was built by my dad, it was the Gulf Apollo Lunar Lander in 1969. He built it and I played with it.
Any sugestions on a model for a beginner.

Welcome aboard! I think you'll find a better selection, more current subjects, and more affordable models in paper. Looking forward to seeing what you build.

The best "first" model depends on what you're interested in. Mars exploration? There's the Mars Exploration Rover at Lower Hudson Valley (Chris' link in previous post) or the Sojourner Rover in the downloads here. Rockets? Loads to choose from at Lower Hudson Valley - best one to start with is the one that interests you, not necessarily the simplest. Space Telescopes? The Hubble Site ( http://www.hubblesite.org/the_telesc...d-held_hubble/ ) has Ton's intermediate level model that is straightforward to build and looks great when done. Etc. Browse the build threads to see what catches your eye - and pick up building tips.

Welcome.
Check out the Links and Downloads tabs at the top of the page. You will get some good models from both.
