Saying hello from Canada....

Sliding gracefully into retirement and looking to do some more card stock. I'm selling my plastic collection as I've had it with glue and paint and sanding and my stupid airbrush....

Welcome aboard. Save those paints for scratch building. You may want to design or modify a model and that air brush can come in handy. Even though I make paper models, when I laminate I have a tendency to use fine sand paper and fine jewel files for touch ups. Enjoy and see you around in the forums. BTW post photos of your builds when you get around to it.

Welcome mate. Don't think that now you've moved to paper you wont need all your plastic modeling stuff because, as I have found out, you probably will. :D I have to admit that I have a badger crescendo air brush and actually can't wait to try it on the nose of an aircraft that I am building. Yep! used putty as well and ca glue and all my tools - need I say more. I am sure your skills will transfer over nicely and the biggest thing for me is being able to print out spare parts when I mangle up a bit I am working on. I mentioned this in another thread but Paper Modeling has actually given me a better understanding on how to use my new skills on plastic. I now love both mediums. Before I hated plastic and didn't understand how wonderful paper modeling can be.

Good luck and see you around mate.

Cheers
Jim
