new guy wants to build a lunar module
Hello paper modelers,
I am brand new at this. I have always wanted to build a lunar module and today (July 20) seemed like a good time to finally do something about it. I did the old Gulf lunar module in 1969 when I was a kid and was hoping for something a little more sophisticated today. But not too much, I'm a newbie. Any suggestions would be appreciated. stage4 |

Aside from doing the Gulf model again (copies are available on jleslie's site: The Lower Hudson Valley Paper Model E-Gift Shop, which is a great site space related models in general), the only real option out there that I'm aware of is Udon's lunar lander . It predates the computer 3d modeling, but nonetheless still a very good model. I don't have a direct link for that one, but it's easy enough to google. If you're a fan of Mythbusters, this is the model Adam Savage enlarged for the show.

You can also get a simpler one from Fiddler's Green.
