Hello

I was just browsing through Starship Modeler and caught a link for this site. Looks pretty nice, so I think I'll browse around here too. :D

Not very much into paper models, but a nice design and build is still a nice design and build, whether its in paper or plastic.

Welcome aboard, Other than scratch building, paper comes closest and it is more enjoyable. Try your hands on some of the freebies. WARNING, Paper modeling is addictive and enjoyable.

Welcome - I agree with silveroxide. You'll surely find something worth trying - regardless of your initial reason for dropping by. We surely don't discriminate, everbody has to start somewhere.

Thom, let me echo everyone else, echo everyone else, and pass along this one tidbit of information I learned from this site...

There are things that can be built in paper, that could NEVER be built in plastic.

I've done three of them so far.

Welcome aboard, man!

The thing that hooked me on card models,is the fact that you can get all most any thing you can think of,odd aircraft that will never be kitted in plastic, stuff you never think of show up in paper at one site or the other. And so much of it for FREE!! just the cost of paper and ink! You can't beat that. When I look at the cost of plastic kits I want to cry....You'll get hooked...you'll see!!!
