Talking Uncharted Territory - Pst I'm new.

Hi =) I'm Harley and I'm fairly new to papercraft/paper modeling. I draw, paint, knit, sculpt clay, carve (wax), so I'm always looking to expand my horizons. I came across a picture of a bunch of papercraft pokemon on DeviantArt and that was all it took. I'm looking forward to trying out a bunch of different types, everything looks so amazing when they're done!

Any suggestions on some good models that will introduce me to various techniques?

Come on in and sit a spell.

Check out the Downloads and Links tab at the top right of the page. Lots of good models can be found there.

...or even our own download library here...or Paper Replika - in both locations you will find a range of models across the spectrum of both subjects and complexity...

There are many top legit paper model libraries around the net but be on the look out for the equally common sites that host copyrighted models for free - if it seems to be too good to be true...it probably is. These pirate sites are the bane of the hobby...

Welcome aboard. The choices are many, check out the links, or here at http://www.ss42.com/ they have a myriad of links to some good papercraft and they are almost all free. On the left column, click on paper toys and it will bring you to the paper category. Return and when you feel comfortable, post some photos of your works. By the way, post some of your non paper works here as well in the other things we do category. See you around the forums.

welcome harley and it is amazing the wide and I mean wide variety of kits that are for free on canon here and paper replika and other sites such as Y's Paper Modelworkshop / Models by Visiters

We all know of good kits for free its how we all started on this hobby really and even when you have bought a good few you do go looking for free ones all the time for practicing and some are very good kits.
