Hello from South Africa
Hi all,
Thought I'd post my welcome. Been digging about the paper/card model world for the past couple months but only managed to find this great forum now, looks fantastic and a wonderful community. The name is Brad, I'm from Durban, South Africa. Involved in the space industry and my first paper model was airwolf back in the 80's followed by Robotech/Macross figurines that I created myself when the plastic toys were too expensive. Looking forward to putting together the Falcon 9 rocket soon. Thanks for this great community and look forward to joining it. Kind regards Brad |

Thanks guys, just getting back into paper modelling now so don't have any models worthy of showing to the public haha my NEAR satellite is looking like it crashed instead of landed on the asteroid but its getting better
For those interested in space models, I'll have South Africa's second satellite "Sumbandila" available soon for you to build. Just near the finishing touches. I'm also looking for megayacht models, so if any have spotted some about, please give me a shout! B |

Isn't that what happened to so many probes they smashed into the Martian surface

hahaha, true
I really made it to get back into the swing of making the models so I created it with normal paper and the first 3 hours was great, then it turned into a droopy probe in need of a solar-lift doctor :P |

Welcome and look forward to seeing some of your work. I've got a few of those "droopy probe" ones myself. But I keep learning new things here that help.
