The great thing about this contest is we all helped each other with parts even gave advice on how we got wings to go and things and helped when we could when there was no instructions which showed just how good this site is. all the build threads are now going to help others in the future taking on a zio model as well which is a win win win.

Thanks, guys. This has been a great contest, and may prove the old adage "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bulls**t." Given the level of the competition, I was hoping just to get one of the main awards. I'm humbled....thank you. If anyone ever comes through SE Idaho, my hobby shop is always open to you, and there is usually a cold one in the fridge for the thirsty. The biggest irony is that the model I had the least hopes for at the beginning of the build took the top honor. Must have been the folding hood....moving parts are always a plus.

This puts a whole new meaning to the term "Darwin Award."

Your level of reward is a fitting reflection of your level of effort (and model-building skill), Darwin.

Congratulations to you and to all the winners!

And many thanks to Todd for orchestrating the contest. I am proud to have managed to get a toe in the water with one model and very much enjoyed watching the other models take shape.

Don
