Prudenzio Contest D7

On the office desk building board is the Von Hipple D-VII from Zio's fabulous collection. Because building time is limited by half hour lunch period, progress will be rather slow. The fuse is together along with the engine and I have glued up the lower wing. I took a page from I think maybe Don's book and scribed the back side of the wing paper to create a rib pattern, which I think really adds to the model.

OK, I'm finally back with the rest of the little DVII build. It took more work than it looks. I had to build the top wing three times to get it right and in the right place. It still is a little thin but I'll live with it. It was fun and it will find a place in the WWI dogfighting mobile that is in the planning. A DR1 is the next one on the lunch time modeling board.
