Prudenzio Bf-109G RA
Hi folks,
In the last few days, I made the Prudenzio Bf-109G flown by the Italian Regia Aeronautica in July 1943. The upper engine cover (part b) needed to be narrowed in the aft section. If not, the fuselage would be to wide for the canopy. The tail planes (d1 and d2) where drawn a little shifted, and I disliked their leading edge. So I cut them apart and trimmed them to my mind. And finally I opened the radiator flaps on top of the wings a little. As the 109 form the F models onwards had a rather complex radiator flap management: in flaps up an radiator closed config, the lower radiator flap is closed completely and the upper one is opened a little to retain the airflow. All in all it was a short an entertaining build.
