Prudenzio Contest - Camels & Albatroses

Here is a picture of my three Sopwith camels and two Albatroses built in 1/144 scale for the Wings of War game.
Two more planes are under construction.
All of these planes were designed by Zio Prudenzio.

Beautiful planes !

I built my planes for the WW I Wings of War game.
See: BoardGameGeek | Gaming Unplugged Since 2000

At the present time, I am working on another project so I may not build any more planes for a long time.

Who designed your planes ?

If I build another 1/144 scale plane it would be the Sopwith Triplane.
Unfortunately, the FG Sopwith Triplane has a design flaw and would require some work to correct the flaw.

Ken

I actually design my airplanes myself.
Attached you find a 1/100 scale Triplane. (no building instructions however, sorry)
I hope there is no flaw in that one.

Scissorsandplanes,

Thank you for your Sopwith Triplane.

It appears to be a simple model which is the best kind to build in small scale.
I added your Sopwith Triplane to my bucket list and hope to build it some day.

The flaw in the FG Sopwith Triplane is a cutout in the top wing over the pilot.
The real Sopwith Triplane did not have such a cutout in the top wing.

Your top wing appears to be correct.

Thank you again.

Ken

Very nice design. I like try DH-4 or Strutters. 1/100 is my natural scale...
