Cambrian Anomalocaris
Inspired by Pat Craft's Paleozoic Orthoceras ,
http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/o...rthoceras.html I couldn'y help but try my hand at something prehistoric. This is Anomalocaris, meter long predator. It's a simple model; I got the model here; Index of /data/anomalocaris It's also available at Jules' site; Anomalocaris Papercraft A white model is supplied and I thought I'd do a quick, more colorful version. I redid a few things on it, even flipped the top and bottom! But for a simple kit, I think it came out OK; I'd love to see more of these prehistoric curiosities done in paper, especially a few full size ones! Chris |

The Australian Geological Survey Organization has a paper trilobite, available via many websites, e.g.:

Génial ! I love it ! The colorful version is really extraordinary, beautiful and realistic (many marin invertebratess have color like that).
What is your inspiration for the colors ? Thanks for the link to the trilobit Yale (the texture are less interresting). |
