Hi there! I'm slowly getting used to this site... Here are my versions of some of those fabulous bird kits from the seventies, photographed 'in the wild' to show off just how good they really are.

Those are great! I've built the nuthatch and wood pecker. I donated them to the nature center in my hometown. They look great next to the Canon Snowy Owl.

Thanks for that link. The Osprey will have to wait for now, but I really want one. I just sent an email to order a couple of the other birds though, and some Johan Scherft models I've been trying to get for weeks. I finished his European Robin recently and really enjoyed building it.

I'm very happy these came to my attention. Thanks for sharing.

I've always loved these models. Have all of them, but never tried to build one. A friend has the complete set hanging from the ceiling of his men's wear store in downtown Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
