After a long dry spell of not building anything, I decided to make an impending birdstrike display for my workplace. Of course, the falcon IS a little faster than the DC-3.

Me too, but I've found no mention of it being offered for sale.

Perhaps an email to Johan might find him amenable?
His email address is available on his website.

The .pdo file needs a bit of sorting though Rich.

Johnny.
I emailed Egon and got a reply ... complete with a sorted .pdf file of the Caudipteryx. Guess what my next bird build will be?

It's still not textured, but he's annotated the pages to be printed on different coloured papers. I guess that's another way of doing it !

I've emailed back asking for permission to share, but he's not replied yet.

Keep on snippin'

Johnny.

That sounds like a very interesting build.

I got a reply from Johan about the Humming bird ... Very much a scratch build, using many non-paper materials, so no kit available I'm afraid chaps.

Still, from the video the mechanism is fairly obvious, so perhaps it might be worth experimenting with the Epson Humming bird.

Egon says OK to share the Caudipteryx, on condition that you acknowledge him as the designer, and send him a pic of your build.

PM me your email address if you want a copy.

Johnny.
