Thanks guys ..... I used the snipping tool to get two images and merged them with Elements 10 as the right click wouldn't work for me for some reason... odd, but never mind ...

He's quite cute. I quite like him as is, but does anyone know how big a Screech Owl should be? This would quite easily double size. Let's face it, with only two parts, it can easily be re-sized in any direction. I did concave the face, but decided it looked better convex, and a damned site easier to assemble. My middle finger was just too short to reach in for the top tabs on this one, but a marble glued onto an old pen sorted it. Snip, Snip, Snip ... Johnny. PS: The first 3D foot for the Barn Owl has turned out well. I'll start the build thread soon ... All that typin' (Shudder). Still at least I can use a spellchecker. Even if it does use US English. I saw a chicken(07 Chicken on the below web site)- and tried to translate the instruction with the Google Translator but it it's way to big. Do you know of another way to translating these pager when they are so big? This is not the first time I have run into this problem. The only way I can think of would be to do it in parts which will take time. Do you guys any any ideas? My wife is really into chicken and this would look good in the kitchen for her. Thank you. wc ???????? | ???? ??

Just an odd convergence of ideas here. I was down with a bug yesterday, so forgive me.
On Ninjatoes Blog today there was a 2.5d barn owl, which you can find here: Lesmateriaal - Stichting Kerkuilen Werkgroep Nederland There are also some pdf's about barn owls (in Dutch, I believe). But they have a wonderful photo of a barn owl in a window. My first thought was that this would be great as one of those 3d illusions, like the lady in the picture frame. You can find it here: ???????????????????:?????? This artist is the one with the tiger heads, too. I'm not the one to do it, but if someone were to take the barn owl photo and turn it into a 3d 'follow me' illusion, wouldn't that be great? Even if it were just done as a shadow box
