Looking at the photos of the 'model', I believe that is the goal, but with that big flat face, I can not imagine it being very aerodynamic. But then again, put enough weight in the front end and put enough force behind it, you can get good distance on anything.

Just as a quickie, I built the Raven at A5 size.



Following the designers build order it is difficult to get at the head seams to burnish them, as the head is part of the body and built last. I managed to iron them a bit from the outside though.

It's been successful enough to convince me to build a bigger one though, thinking A4 size will give better access, and maybe even separating the head to really give it an internal working.

Then I thought "This thing is actually good enough to blow up to A3, and should look pretty good bigger than life size."

I just might have to flesh out the feet a bit at that size though.

So, again ... Watch this space.
