More Caribou build pictures

Well I Got two Caribou's done for my friend.
One is the original from Aaron.
And the second one I did a re-paint on the tail to match
his unit number and guidon that they had on it in Vietnam.
They were known as F-Troop.
The helpers sure had lots of fun helping with the builds.
( Lots of tasting and testing of parts. )
And Brumby even did a pounce test on it to make
sure the gear was nice and strong. ( WHEW )
My friend even got a kick out of the work the helpers
did on the builds.
( Had to show him the pictures of the build process. )
Enjoy the pics'.

Best Buddies

Speaking only for myself, I hope you guys never stop posting photos of your pets who stand or sit or lay by you when you’re modeling goes good or bad. Now that my German Shepherd days I'm afraid are behind me, I can only hope the wife will ok a cat one day. I just can't talk her into any pets. I have adopted a cat for across the street.

This is Lucy

Lucy is adorable. It's great that you are able to have this companion, at least. Work on your wife slowly, she'll come around.

I attempted to adopt a feral cat we call Buddy, but the longer he was in the more trapped he felt, so he is back to living outside, but I still feed and water him. Unfortunately, this has attracted two more ...

Here's Buddy.

Buddy is beautiful! Nice that you take care of him.

My wife and I took in a ferral back in '03. Took two years of patience and love but he came around. Think he figured out that regular food, warmth, and a safe place to live was better than outdoors. He eventually became very domesticated. Unfortunately we had to put him down last week. He came down with a storm of problems and nothing would work. We spent over $2,000 in six weeks, but no matter how much money was spent, he just wasn't going to make it. He was a super buddy and I miss him.

It's amazing how much these little rats can have an effect on us. Sorry about your loss

Thanks Vermin King. Yeah, they do get into our hearts.
Her's a picture of Tuckerman who crossed the Rainbow Bridge last week. He was a double polydactyl with perfectly formed paws.

Wadcutter,,, Jagolden,,, and Vermin King,,,
Thanks for sharing the GREAT pictures of your
BEAUTIFUL Kitties.
Ferrel or raised with family all cats are special.
We also feed the roaming Kitties here.
And we have two that are regular visitors.
Last year when they both were young,,, I kept
them fed through the winter and found out that
our neighbors a block away have a spot for them
to sleep out of the weather.
They are fed by some of the other cat owners in
the neighbor hood and we all watch out for them.
They usually hang out together, but sometimes come
to eat one at a time.
Here are some pictures I was able to get of them on
one of their visits to eat.
OF course, our two kitties watch them from the windows. ( HE HE )

He was quite the handsome fellow, too.
I'm nursing wounds today (through the leather gloves). Got another feral in the house yesterday and got her into the pet carrier to be taken this morning to be fixed, vaccinated, tattooed and ear-tipped. I knew she would be a terror, but I didn't think she would shred my leather gloves.

Beautiful cats, musicman. Great job taking care of them.
Vermin King, also great job taking care of the feral and helping the colony, too by keeping the population down.
