So the fact they are grooming one another is very interesting. It could be that the housing arrangement has lead them to bond strongly.

Do your other two groom one another?
Hi Kevin,
I'm glad that you like the pictures.
Ebony and Kitty were as you say feral kitties. We call them roaming kitties.
But because we have been feeding them, and taken care of them medically, and given them houses to live in by our back door,,, I think they have come to trust us.
Now we can pet them as long as we are by the back door where they know we feed and talk to them.
But when we are out in the back yard with them they keep their distance from us a bit more. Ebony will come up to us a bit, but Kitty still won't, but will be close.
So we are slowly gaining their trust and love.
As for our two kitties Brumby and Callie. They are brother and sister.
And they do groom each other, and sleep and play together and everything else that siblings do with each other.
Here for you are a couple pictures I shot of Brumby and Callie
sleeping together on the kitchen table where their
towels are on a permanent Basis. After all, it's their house as
much as our house.
Talk to you soon my friend,
Gary

Thank you Neil.
Glad you like the pictures.
I will post some of me and EBONY
when I can get my wife to take some.
Ebony is a wild child, so I have to be
more careful with him.
But both Ebony and Kitty are sure
our little outside treasures.
Hope you are having a great week.
Best Regards,
Gary

Cute pics Gary.

Do yours have a cat tree? I am sure they do, but if not you must get one.

Ours had one, but my wife decided they needed a new one - so they now have two. The old one has gone in the hall and the new one in our bedroom (which is plenty big enough for it).

Below.......

Picture 1 - the old cat tree.

Picture 2 - the new one.

Picture 3 - Missy (our oldest) clambering around the old one when it was in our bedroom.

Hi Kevin,
I'm glad you like the pictures of me with Kitty.
My wife and I LOVE the pictures of your two cat trees.
And Missy is adorable.

No, we don't have a cat tree, but I would really
love to have one for our kids.
We do have lots of furniture that is our kitties.
If you saw the shape it's in you will know.
CHAIRS, COUCH, TABLES, ETC.
I will have to take some pictures to show you.
It's all been used for scratching and climbing
on and we don't care.
It's there house as much as ours.
So if the furniture lasts for all of us,,,
that's all we care about.
Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Best Regards,
Gary

OK Kevin,,, and ALL you kitty folks out there.
I took some pictures of just some of the furniture
in our home that our kitties own and scratch on.
First is a picture of one of our chairs that
is in pretty good shape.
Then their is Callie's chair that she loves to scratch on
when she is getting ready to go onto the kitchen table.
And my wife's lazy boy chair that they like to scratch
on both the sides and back.
And the couch that belongs to Brumby and Callie.
And my computer chair that Brumby and Callie
like to scratch on when I'm playing with the computer.
And the legs of the coffee table that Brumby likes
to scratch when he is in a playful mood.
So I hope you get a kick out of the pictures.
Like I said,,, we love our kids and would
not have it any other way. It's their home too.
Best Regards,
Gary
